Atrial Fibrillation or A Fib is the commonest heart rhythm disorder in the world. It causes symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, chest pain, fatigue, shortness of breath etc, but even more importantly can be responsible for serious conditions such as STROKE, HEART FAILURE and even DEATH,  if not treated appropriately.

Some Cardiologists spend an extra 2 years of special training (on top of 8 years of Medical School + 3 years of Internal Medicine + 3 years of Cardiology = 16 years of Training after High School….but who’s counting, right? ) to learn about Arrhythmias. These doctors are experts at treating heart rhythm disorders and are known as Electrophysiologists or EP doctors.  Some people also call them the “Electricians of the Heart”.

Even among Electrophysiologists, there are some that have special interest, training, skills and passion for treating and potentially curing patients with Atrial Fibrillation… This web site is designed by one such electrician of the heart… Hope it enlightens you :)
